As a designer
편리 ( pyeol-li )
As a reliable, curious, and persistent designer, I focus on creating Pyeol-li (convenience) for users by researching, synthesizing, sketching, prototyping, designing intuitive UIs, and iterating. My goal is to enhance user satisfaction through thoughtful and convenient user-centered design.
Driven by curiosity about how people interact with products, I gather insights and use them to develop innovative solutions that prioritize the needs and experiences of users. -
As a team player
함께 ( ham-gkae )
A team that works ham-gkae (together) achieves better results.
Unity and open communication are key to a successful team dynamic. As a collaborative team player, I excel at reading the room and navigating conflicts when they arise. I facilitate discussions, encourage collaboration, and work towards effective solutions. When a team is cohesive, it fosters trust with clients, which in turn builds confidence and loyalty among users. -
As a person
공감 ( gong-gam )
As the first person in my family to attend college in the U.S., I’ve always felt a strong sense of responsibility to succeed and support my family.
One of the most impactful experiences I had was participating in a mission trip to Washington, D.C. with the Korean Church Coalition. People from across the country gathered to rally in front of the White House, urging Congress and senators to prevent the deportation of North Korean refugees and orphans who had managed to escape. During this experience, I felt gong-gam (empathy)—a deep sense of understanding and compassion for their unfortunate situations. It was a powerful reminder that I have the ability to be a voice for those who are silenced, especially when they don’t have the platforms to speak for themselves.
Today, I remain committed to being a voice for the voiceless.
